Two Countries, One Bay Studio Art Tour

There has not been very much publicity about our annual studio tour, so I will try to do my share. Join us for the 5th annual Two Countries, One Bay Art Studio Tour. The two countries are Canada and the United States, and the Bay is Passamaquoddy Bay which is part of the larger Bay of Fundy.  http://www.twocountriesart.com/  Over 40 artists are participating this year including myself.  Michael Chesley Johnson will be participating in spirit from the Grand Canyon and of course with his artwork.  To read about his adventures at the Grand Canyon event, see:  http://mchesleyjohnson.blogspot.com/

We will have roomfuls of paintings at http://www.friarsbaygallery.com for your perusal, plus my kaleidoscopic work and some sea glass crafts.

Some information from the website was copied below.

During this free, self-guided tour you’ll meet world-class artists where they work—in their studios. This setting provides a unique opportunity to watch demonstrations or try your hand at techniques, inquire about the artist’s creative process, or experience art in an informal setting—with the chance to talk with the artists directly. Organized by the Tides Institute and Museum of Art / CulturePass (Eastport, ME), with assistance from Kingsbrae Garden (St. Andrews, NB), and Roosevelt Campobello International Park (Campobello, NB).Funded in part by participating artists and sponsors, with additional support from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Offering a wide range of media, from painting to printmaking, textiles to stained glass, from contemporary sculpture and jewelry, to traditional crafts, you'll find the unique and unusual — an art adventure not to be missed!
